I'm sleepy if I don't sleep 8-9 hours a night. But, I have found that if I take 4iu+ before bed, I also fall asleep right away, but wake up every couple hours to take a leak, and feel groggy in the morning when I get out of bed. Lift heavy then eat and sleep all day and I promise you you'll have massive gains. If I sleep on my back with my arms at my sides, it doesn't bother me.
